not technically my upholstery, well I took the photo!
I found this beautiful chair on the pavement near a beautiful Church in Istanbul. As many people do in warmer climes, they sit outside and watch the world go by but I was lucky enough to be there early.
The motif is used a lot on touristy cushions, which I didn't fancy but I did like how this had been done, I should have brought some cushions with me after all.
Today was my last chance to go to the booty for a few weeks as next Saturday we will be in Totnes & Sunday at Shepton, the following Sunday will be Malvern, so mooching withdrawl......
I hope that you like "my" chair.

love the chair - no car booty here today either - rain stopped bargain-hunting! must stay in and do something creative like write another blog.
ReplyDeleteI love the chair and the motif is lovely. Sadly no car booty for us today either as the weather was ghastly, but we ended up at Barn Antiques and came out with the bank account a little depleted shall we say!!
ReplyDeleteForgot to say, looking forward to meeting you in Totnes next Saturday.

I love that chair and the motif similar to an Ikat design. I have something like that for sale among my vintage Afghan/Uzbekistan coats. You really should have bought a cushion!
