Mabel Lucie Atwell

I found a 1950’s Mabel Lucie Atwell annual today ,lovely illustrations, poems & stories, although I shouldn’t encourage such behavior, the plates are so wonderful that they could all be framed and would make fantastic nursery pictures.
I am trying a new way of posting from Windows 7, lets see if it works?!……........yes it does and have a look at the album bit! Modern technology eh?!

    Glad to see you are feeling better. Mabel Lucie Atwell pictures are gorgeous. I do agree about framing things, especially if the book isn't in great condition it is better to save them than leave the book intact - I always have this dilemma with quilts and eiderdowns!!
