all change……

At the Old Pill Factory today, Fiona had started to do a “children on holiday” themed window, with an A-frame ladder draped in (my) rosey fabric, to make an impromptu tent filled with teddies, wooden games, tiny teaset and other bits ‘n’ pieces.

When I came back from parking the van, she had changed the window for a blue theme, very muted and calm,

very lovely, but I would have loved to have seen the whole “holiday’s” window.

When I had tidied my unit I drove down to Winchester to collect Tom, he is now home and I estimate that I have ten loads of washing to do! I understand now why he asked me to go in the van!

Today’s pictures were on my phone as I didn’t take my camera as I thought it may get damaged by a boy throwing his stuff into the van on top of mine, funnily enough I had a chandelier in the back which arrived home in one piece.

  1. I agree with you I would have liked to see photos of the "on holiday" window being a succour for vintage toys and holidays! Good luck with all that washing and ironing- 10 bag fulls - poor you! I remember doing the same with my mum when at Uni and when the clothes were washed I would try an outfit on, not like it and then put it straight into the laundry bin again! What an utter pain I must have been!

  6. Hi, I love the blue and white window, it looks fab! I am new to this blogging thing, recommended to do so by Sophie at Fading Grace. Like you I love vintage and love renewing and recycling old pieces of furniture. Have just started to do fairs, so if you can pass on any tips or fair events I'd be soooooo grateful! Thanks xx
