what we did at the weekend
at the weekend we were indoors, for both days,
as a little treat, when we left Exeter we drove to Buddleigh Salterton.
After tea, mine traditional, M had a chocolate scone with cherry jam & clotted cream,
he rolled his trousers up (my fault as I didn’t put any shorts in for him!)
with his strings of spaghetti we walked to the beach
We had a lovely couple of hours before we headed off upto Shepton, we drove across country which was beautiful in the early evening sunshine.
I hope that you were able to have some time in the sunshine this weekend.
p.s. When we came home I had received some great news, I have been offered a place at the “Talent for textiles” event at Glastonbury at Abbey Barn, Glastonbury Museum of Rural Life, for information Linda posted a great blog about the building.
Looks like you had a great weekend, a chocolate scone with cherry jam and clotted cream ticks all my tea boxes!
ReplyDeleteTalent for textiles sounds like a fantastic event, glad you have been offered a place.
