Or decide on a totally unnecessary job of removing Dolly’s horrid old fuzzy nylon cover and decoupaging her with lovely old French fabric???????

Well you can see what I did which is why we still have no food in the house, carpets need hoovering and important work needs to be done, oh and a trip to Witney!

  1. I totally understand, I always do the nice jobs and sort of "forget" about the others!
    Have a great weekend.

  4. I would have done the same, your priorities are definitely right!! The housework will always be there, you have to go where the inspiration leads you.

  8. the only way housework ever gets done here is if visitors are coming!

My niece phoned unexpectedly yesterday to say if I was in, she was just around the corner...I cleared up the rubbing-down mess I was making, hoovered, cleaned the sink, got changed out of smelly (very smelly) horse clothes in 15 minutes flat!
When she went to leave she said- oh I must call in on the off-chance again, spur-of-the-moment works well for me!!

  11. Decoupaging Dolly is much more creative than the mundane labelling, ironing and dreaded housework.
I would have done exactly the same....
Madame Perma Tan mannequin took a tumble the other day and is sporting a nasty gash to her chest.....think she might need a fabric decoupage make over too!

  13. Tracy lists are a must for me - so satisfying to cross something off when done. Mind you casting a wary eye around my house the dusting is calling me - but then so is making up some packs for tags....oh well dust tomorrow
