We took a longer walk today, and although we could hear traffic in the far distance we pretended that it was the sound of the sea whooshing up onto a pebble beach. It was lovely and sunny with a slight chill in the air, what a lovely afternoon to be walking along Slapton sands.
Mum, I think that it’s time to go, could we meet M for cake and hot choc?
or perhaps an ice cream?
or even meet him in the pub for supper?
Sorry Flo, wake up, we have to go home.
bless, I could have gone for a nice walk along the beach instead of sat behind my laptop all day. 3 weeks time and I am off to the sea again.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if that was exactly what she dreamt of! I'm now thinking of cake and hot chocolate. Hope it's not too long before you can do the walk for real!
