original vintage 1960's armchairs (pair) £345 vs. one new High Street chain store £439 (for one)
mmmmmm!!!!
ps I would like to apologise for my lack of posts recently, I do hope to be able to get back into the swing of things this week, and have some eye candy lined up for a post on Tues/Weds.
Vintage any day Tracey, the 60's chairs will still be around long after the high street one is in landfill.

PS Love the pic of Florence.
Hi Jo - Flo says this is an old pic of her, as last Thursday she had to have her two top canines removed, it was a traumatic op and she wasn't feeling up to a photocall! especially as now she has hardly any choppers left and can't smile very well!

Vintage for me every time!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry poor Flo has had to have an op, I hope she is recovering well. I love the picture of her on your header.... what a star :) A xx
Just taken a great shaped old chair..cost £40 to be recovered in Hungarian linen £40..recovering £250..a bargain I reckon especially as will have resale value whereas new stuff is so hard to get rid off.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to a trip to the Pill factory

so sorry to hear about Flo's teeth...Bruce has a companion pony staying in the stable next door to him, her name is Nerys, she's 34 and has no teeth at all, she just gums and sucks!
ReplyDeleteHe loves peering through the bars that separate their stables watching her "drink" her very wet tea!
Have a good week
